Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announces the following Drug arrest by Wayne County Detectives

LEBANON TOWNSHIP, PA- May 11, 2021

On April 6, 2021, Wayne County Detectives Michael F. McMorrow and Detective Bobby Joe Bendersky arrested JAMIE DAVID WIEK, 50 of Olyphant, Pennsylvania for possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance (F), possession of a controlled substance (M) and drug paraphernalia (M) after he was found to be in possession of Chrystal methamphetamine.

The incident began on April 5, 2021 when Sheriff Deputies located WIEK in Lebanon Township sleeping in his vehicle with an outstanding bench warrant issued by Wayne County Court of Common Pleas.

After WIEK was taken into custody he was searched and it was discovered that he was in possession of a controlled substance. Wayne County Detectives were requested and responded to the scene and met with Sheriff Deputies. WIEK was turned over to County Detectives and lodged on the outstanding warrant at the Wayne County Correctional Facility. WIEK’s vehicle was also impounded.

County Detectives then secured a search warrant on WIEK’S vehicle and located a number of items including a scale and packaging material.

WIEK was arraigned before Wayne County District Judge Linus Myers and bail was set at $45,000.00. He is due in central court on May 19, 2021.
